I follow a girl named Kimmy's blog (http://fizikizi.blogspot.co.uk/) and in one of her posts, she linked to this page: http://www.kikki-k.com/blog/cat/journaling-prompts/page/12/?show=36. Basically, it's 365 things you can blog about so, like her, I'm going to try to do it. I've already missed days 1 and 2 but I'll just put them here too. So.
Day one: hope and dreams for the year. To get great AS level results and stay really happy. I believe that covers everything.
Day two: favourite inspirational quote. "The sky is everywhere. It begins at your feet". - The Sky is Everywhere by Jandy Nelson. This just reminds me of the freedom I have and that there are no limitations on what you can do. I hope this isn't sounding too corny. I also like "Heave yourself up that mountain for there is bound to be a biscuit at the top". - Is It Just Me? by Miranda Hart. This is just a "keep going" quote and I love it.
Oh lol, day three is kind of lame...
Day three: write a positive attribute for each letter of your name that you will aim for in the next year.
K - kindness (I shall try.)
A - astute (haha, I'll give it a shot.)
T - okay, I'm stuck. I give up!
It is highly unlikely that I'll actually remember to do this everyday. Yesterday, I went to see Jack Reacher with some people from that youth programme I went on in the summer. I hate action films but this was actually really great! As I've said before, I'm so bad at writing reviews and summaries of what goes on in books and films. Basically, five people are shot and there's an investigation to find out who did and if the accused guy is innocent. It's so good! Except, there's this one bit where a man is trying to bite off his own fingers which made me just slink down in my seat and actually cover my eyes. Vjdhsgjknasfj!
Outfit for Wednesday 2nd January 2013:
Coat: Peacocks, £40
Scarf: umm, Christmas present
Skirt: charity shop, £2
Boots: Shoe Zone, £15
Bag: Cambridge Satchel Company (woohoo!), £95 ish.
Song of the day:
Another Love - Tom Odell
This song is so beautiful. I think it's my favourite at the moment. It gives me shivers every time - it's so haunting and a wonderful piece of music. The video is so simple, yet so effective. Watch it watch it watch it! I really need to see this man live.
