Happy first birthday, blog!

A year ago today, I wrote my first post on this blog (I was going to link it but I read it back and realised how cringy it is, so I don't think I will). I didn't think I'd keep posting for this long but I'm pretty happy that I have. I realise that my following is ridiculously small for having had this up for 365 days but it's probably one of the best things I've ever done. My writing skills have (I like to think) improved and it's been amazing getting to know other people in the blogosphere. So I don't really want to get all mushy, but a quick shout to you if you're reading this, just to say thank you. It means a lot that people actually read this and I hope I can continue to post my musings here for the foreseeable future. xo

(I was going to bake a cake and take photos of it to post here but I forgot, so here's a picture of a fabulous looking cake that I wish I had the skills to bake. Ah, that's like a tongue twister or a little rhyme.)
